we are energy we are beings of light in scientific research dr. Fritz Albert pop found that our bodies emit biophotons which are light we glow in the dark we are made of light imagine this for a moment as you sit here breathing that you are a being of light pure light if we could see ourselves as this more often we would have a deeper appreciation of our expansiveness if we can see ourselves and everything and everyone else as light then you could understand how interconnected we all light doesn’t stop and start it moves around in waves and fades in and out if you are light and everything else is light and where do you end and something else begin thoughts are light feelings are light colors mixing and mingling like paint poured on a page being present with the fact that we are light naturally gives us a more unlimited perspective of ourselves so right now focus on the fact that you are a being of light

as you breathe focus on the light inside your body feel it observe it in your chest

feel see the light as it emanates from your hands

feel it moving up and down your arms

focus on the light as it is moving inside your head focus on the light at each of your energy centers at your base

an inch below your belly button

another below your diaphragm

another new chest another at your throat

focus on the light another in the middle of your head

and at the crown of your head at the top just focus on the light

see yourself as you really are being of light

now extend your awareness to the space around you feel with your awareness pale light is not contained within your body the boundary or border of the skin does nothing to keep the light inside for the light to shine through the skin moving through the space in each cell consider for a moment how much space exists in every cell there is more space in your skin than there is skin

the boundary or border of the skin simply signifies the expansion of what is beyond just like the edge of each organ inside your body which seemingly have a distinct differentiation between this one and the space around it or another organ but really the border is an illusion because without the blood energy or other organs that surround it it would not exist one organ is not separated from the rest of the internal body just as our skin can’t separate us from the environment around us and from each other

it is simply an indicator of expansion a symbol of law

focus all of your attention on the light around your body discover it as it weaves and winds through different parts of you and explodes in different shapes around you feel the space around you as a part of the light that is here

we will use the mantra I am light for the next five minutes repeating it and observing your light state I will start and then you will continue until I ring a bell take note of how you were feeling before this meditation began and how you feel at the end please repeat after me.

now bringing your attention back to the room you’re sitting in take a deep breath failing your attention will return to your physical body however keep this awareness of you as a being of light in the background of your mind all day every day keep an aspect of your presence on this feeling of light
