I initially created Meditation Lyrics because I wanted to spread these awesome meditations I have been really resonating with and finding benefits from in my pursuit of becoming a peaceful sleeper.
So why aren’t we breathing deep?
Our breath is like an auto-pilot that kicks in automatically, much like the mind. We breathe with our shoulders, chest, mid-chest, and belly. Studies show that our breathing is regulated by a small chain of brain cells known as the parasympathetic branch. (Our bodies, far from an automatic auto-pilot system, are actually in a deeply meditative state.)
This website also serves as a resource for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, to accompany the meditations in question.
I hope these meditations help you as well in your journey to inner peace and self discovery.
I am a huge fan of Dr. Joe Dispenza and love to listen to his meditations and interviews. I got a lot out of his work, including. And, in this post, I provide you with the best resources to get even more out of Dr. Joe’s work.
I created this website to share meditations and insights in lyric form from the likes of Deepak Chopra, David Elliott and Michelle D’Avella, just starting out in these challenging times due to Covid-19.
Usually I start with David Elliott’s Seven, Thirteen, Twenty One, or Twenty Eight Minute Meditation due to his consistent breathing on his tracks and then listen to binaural beats or relaxing Deepak meditation before bed. Pretty effective!:
